My Buzz Lightyear and My Princess!
My mom is the queen of yard saling! But you guys probably already know that! She found these Buzz Lightyear vest wings for Oliver! My little fella ran all over "Damma's" back yard pretending to fly! The only problem we had was when he tried to get into the house through the screen door and his wings blocked him from entering the house lol! My mom also got Ava a dress up box, painted and has a cushion on top of it for her to sit on! The good thing about it, other than it being so cute, is that the lid to the dress up box doesn't shut unless you push it down, so no smashed fingers for my little princess!
Nichole visited us from Thailand, then went to Texas, then came back here for one more visit before she starts another year of teaching overseas. She has her own apartment over there now living off campus, so that means there is room for me to visit, right??!
The History Channel had a 3 part series on the Hatfields and McCoys, so of course every time I called my dad last week, he had to start off our conversations with a southern, cowboy-ish accent.....what a character he is lol!
Ava.....oh how I love this wittle wubbie! I think this toy is actually a toy weed wacker, but I assume she thinks it's a kitchen cleaning tool??! And yes, the goggles are necessary!
I took this pic this weekend...I'm thinking it's time for me to put away the flannel sheets with Christmas stockings printed on them! :) My dog, Emmy, had had a rough day protecting me from such evils such as the lawn mower guy, ups man, children riding their bikes on our sidewalk.....flat out tuckered her out!
Emma is loving living up here in Washington now!! She is such a good girl, minus the very frequent "No way!" response to questions from her parents! :) I think the best thing about being the "Auntie" to all these youngsters, is the fact that I don't have to exactly discipline! The other day ago, Emma was being naughty, so to mask my smiling face, I simply turn the other way until the parent is done disciplining, therefore they don't see me condoning their naughtyness, hehehe!
That pic is by JamBerry Photography of Ash and Ali! Ash lives literally a few blocks away from me, so last night I got to help Ali get ready for bed and read her a bed time story, I'm so thankful for the loved ones in my life!
And now that everyone knows, I can share a pic of one of my best friends, Raquel, announcing she is expecting a BOY!!!! Woot woot!!
The weather has seriously been so weird this year! But I am ready for some CONSECUTIVE SUNNY days!!!
Nikki Davis had her bridal shower and will be gettin' hitched soon!!! I'm so excited for her! Wish I could be there for the ceremony in Hawaii, but am so happy she will be having a reception/party in August! Maybe my dad will be able to make it to that!
I once again have stayed up past my bedtime....so I must hit the hay! I will post another update soon! xoxo -Aariann
